    My husband and I are taking our kids (11, 7, and 4) to WDW in May. We are not sure if using the disney dining plan is worth getting or just trying to buy as we go. Which would be the cheapest way to feed the family?

    Hi Elizabeth.  I too have a family with three children and I can honestly say that my husband and I have both figured out that we save a great deal of money by purchasing the dining plan.  The savings can especially be seen when you purchase such things as a character dining experiences.   Also it's wonderful not to have to pull out the cash every time a child wants a snack or bottle of water,  You just present your card and it deducts from your balance, it will even give you a print out letting you know how many credits you have left!  It's really wonderful and I would highly recommend it.  I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation in May.
