My husband and I are taking our kids (9 & 10 mths) to WDW for the 1st time. We are staying at All Star Movies. How should I pack for the baby? We will need diapers, wipes, baby food for the week, as well as juice and snacks. Limited luggage space

    Hello, my Kentucky neighbor!

First off, don't stress over taking the baby with you.  We've taken our girls practically from birth and it's not hard, I promise.

I'm guessing you are flying since you mention limited luggage space.  One thing we do is put diapers and wipes in a cardboard box and check those at the airport that way.  It saves space in our luggage, and when the diapers are used up at the end of the week we can trash the box.  If we do too much shopping while we're there, we can also use the box to ship our souvenirs home so we don't have to worry about transporting those on the plane either.

I recommend buying baby food in plastic containers rather than jars, and then pack the containers (as well as juice/snacks) inside large ziploc bags,  Just in case something breaks, this will keep your clothing protected.  No one wants to do laundry on vacation!

I also find it convenient to pack my kids' clothes in ziploc bags.  I put one complete outfit in each bag, so that it's easy for them (or my husband) to grab and bag and go.  It's also easy to grab one of these bags to stick in our park bag, just in case a change of clothes is needed, and the empty bags are handy for wet or soiled items while in the park as well.

Don't stress too much over packing.  Whatever you may forget, run out of, or not have room for, it is very likely that you will be able to find it at your resort.  The prices are higher so do plan as best you can, but don't worry about it.  If you have to make choices because you are running out of space in the suitcase, I would recommend that you bring the diapers, wipes, and baby food, and buy juice and snacks at your resort gift shop.  They will be the most economical items to purchase on-site.

    Enjoy your first DIsney vacation!!!
