My husband and I will be taking our grandchildren to DW Thanksgiving week. Can you give me suggestions on the type of attire to pack? We live in NY and it is much cooler here.

    Hi Susan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I love that you and your husband are taking your grandchildren to Walt Disney World over Thanksgiving week!  You will create so many magical memories together!

Although the weather can be difficult to predict, the average high temperature in November is traditionally in the upper 70s with an average low temperature in the mid to upper 50s. Based on the average weather temperatures, I would recommend packing shorts and short sleeve tops for during the day, making sure to pack a light jacket or sweater for the early mornings and evenings. You may also want to pack a few pair of pants, just to be on the safe side. If you will be staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts, consider packing swimsuits since the pools are heated year-round. If you have booked Advanced DIning Reservations at a Signature Restaurant, be sure to check the dress code for that particular dining location. Make sure to pack comfortable shoes for park touring. I would also suggest checking the Orlando weather forecast in the days leading up to your trip so that you can pack accordingly. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional vacation planning questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Susan!

    Happy Packing,
    Jodie
