My husband & I are taking our 2 girls (7&9) to WDW June 26-June 30. Its our first trip so I want it be perfect!! Any suggestions on how we should use our time there? What we should make sure we see? We're staying at Port Orleans-Riverside. Than

    Andrea,

So there are a lot of things to think about, but most of all you need to remember that this is a vacation, and relaxing should be part of that.

First off, you should figure out what park you are going to each day. I would recommend that at that time of the year I would go to a park each day that is NOT having Morning Extra Magic Hours. That way you are avoiding some of the bigger crowds.

Next, plan out your meals, and make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs in Walt Disney World lingo) at 180 days out. Don't plan too many sit down meals, as they take time, money, and probably bring more food than your girls might otherwise eat. I would say 1 per day, but you know your family better. It might be more, or less.

Plan an evening at Downtown Disney, probably on whatever day you are visiting the Animal Kingdom. Try to make it on a weekday to avoid Orlando area crowds, and enjoy the boat ride over from your resort.

These are a few initial pointers. Write me back with more questions from my bio page and I can elaborate on some of these and other topics!

    Have a magical vacation!
