My husband and I will taking our first Disney Cruise this June with our daughter. She is currently 2 but will turn 3 on the cruise. We are taking a week long cruise on the Fantasy. What should I pack for dinners? What does Disney deem as a tank?

Welcome aboard, Claire! Your little princess is going to have the time of her life on the Disney Fantasy this summer!

Your seven-night sailing will include Cruise Casual nights, a Formal Night, a Semi-Formal Night and everyone's favorite: Pirate Night! Cruise Casual on Disney cruises means nicer casual wear. Disney asks that no shorts or jeans, swimwear or tank tops be worn in the main dining restaurants for dinner. Most men will wear a pair of khakis and a polo shirt. Women wear capris, skirts or summer dresses. If you have a dressy women's tank top with a nice skirt or pants, you'll be fine. I believe that they don't want the more casual pool/beach type tanks in the dining rooms. Your little girl could wear cute pants and a top or a sweet little dress or skirt.

On Formal and Semi-Formal nights, you'll see everything from tuxedos and evening gowns to a more simple dress shirt and pants for the men and summer type dress for the women. Your little princess would fit right in on formal night if she wore a princess dress. Perhaps you should consider a princess makeover in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard (but book soon as those slots fill up quickly! As a first time cruiser, you can book this online up to 75 days prior to sailing). Or she could bring her own princess dress from home, or just wear a nicer dress or skirt.

Don't forget to pack some pirate gear for the whole family to wear on Pirate Night!

Have fun as you continue to plan, Claire! I hope that gives you a good starting point for packing!
