My husband and I are taking our 2 daughters ages 10 and 5 on Disney Magic in 12 days!! They still don't know yet!!! My question is, can they get their hair braided on board rather than have to haggle in Bahamas? If so-what is the cost on board?

    Hi Stacey!

Are you about to burst?  I can't believe you have been able to keep this secret from your girls!   They are going to be elated when they realize they are about to cruise with Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew!  I'm so excited for your family and the magical memories you are about to make onboard Disney Cruise Line!

Your princesses can have their hair braided onboard the ship.  The Hair Braiding Stand is located on Deck Nine Midship, and you will want to check your Personal Navigator, your daily cruise newsletter, for operating times.  Pricing is always subject to change, but currently you can expect to pay $1.00 per braid and $2.00 per corn row.  There is also braiding on Castaway Cay at the end of the Castaway Family Beach.  Pricing is similar to what you will find onboard.

Good luck with your final cruise preparations!  Make sure to video your girls' reaction to their most magical surprise ever!

Have a wonderful time and bon voyage!
