    My husband and I are surprising our 3 sons (17,8 & 5) with a trip to DisneyWorld December 12-18. With it being a surprise....I am doing all the packing!! Is it warm enough for shorts...or pretty much jeans & jackets? 1st Disney trip for all of us

    How exciting that you have a surprise trip planned and so soon too!

    When I visit in December I literally pack for all weathers. I normally find that during the day it is warm enough for shorts and T-Shirts but once the sun sets I need a sweater, jeans and occasionally, would you believe, we need jackets, gloves and hats. Packing lots of light layers really is the answer so you can easily adapt to the temperature changes. Rain is also a possibility so packing ponchos or light rain macs is a good idea. Also don't forget the boys swim suits as all the WDW pools are heated and I'm sure they'll love a splash around!

    December is a fantastic time to visit as the weather is normally the perfect temperature for park touring and all the parks and resorts look so beautiful decorated for Christmas.
