Hi moms... My husband and I are surprising our kids the end of April for our first EVER Disney trip and we are beyond excited to surprise them! We have booked our hotel reservations at The AOA and are now trying to set up a iteneray please help!!

    Hi Heather,

What a wonderful gift you will be giving your children! I hope you have a wonderful time!

I recommend that you start in Epcot on the first full day of touring. This is a big park with lots of cool things to see and do. You start in Future World and then end the day in World Showcase.

The next day should be at Disney's Hollywood Studios where they have a lot of shows so you can rest from all the walking you did the day before. Day three head to Magic Kingdom and then day four end at Animal Kingdom.

You can then add another day at Epcot or Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are only a day to tour.

You can also add a day at the resort after Magic Kingdom if you think you want the rest. Also, if you did not purchase your tickets, only go for the base tickets and not the hopper option. You will have plenty to see in one park without splitting your day.

Once your children do know they are going, ask them what they want to see. Have them each pick two or three things at each park they want to tour and keep to those at a minimum. It makes it a win-win for everyone.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
