If my husband & I are staying at the Ft Wilderness Campground for an extended stay and my daughter visits us for a couple of days only, is she eligible for extra park hours?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth! I love staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground with my family whenever we visit the most magical place on earth!

Guests staying at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort get to enjoy all of the benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest. Extra Magic Hours are one of those magical benefits!

Elizabeth, your stay at the campsites will allow you to have 10 guests on your reservation. Even though your daughter will not be staying with you throughout your entire vacation, you can still add her to your reservation. This way she can receive a complimentary MagicBand and enjoy all of the benefits during her visit with you.

The easiest way to add her to your reservation is by calling (407) 939-1936 to speak to a Resort Reservation Specialist. They will be happy to help you with all of the details!

Visiting the Fort Wilderness property during the Fall and Winter months is one of my family’s favorite things to do. It feels like one big community celebrating the Holidays together! The Halloween decorations will be coming down by the time you arrive, but the Christmas decorations are soon to follow. It is so much fun exploring the different campsites and cabin areas all lit up for this special time of year, while riding around on a golf cart!

Don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any other questions. I hope you have a magical visit!
