My husband and I are staying at the Tuscany village resort in December. We are planing to do all things Disney for the week. Are there any adult specific experiences recommended? Wine/beer or romantic dinners?

Hi there, Robyn! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of year! Winter is a great season to visit Walt Disney World Resort with the cooler temperatures and a whisper of the holidays in the air. Robyn, there are so many magical experiences that are fun for adults. I'd love to help you plan a trip that's just right for a party of two!

First, I'd suggest finishing your day with some nighttime entertainment. Personally, I love watching Harmonious in EPCOT, especially after enjoying a romantic meal. And even though you're looking for adult-specific experiences, I have to recommend purchasing tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Even as two adults, my husband and I had the best time cherishing the holidays together with festive treats, cheery parades, and "snow" on Main Street, U.S.A. We got to slow down and really soak up the atmosphere together, making it one of our most favorite memories.

Make an advance dining reservation for a dinner with an intimate atmosphere. Some of my favorites include Le Cellier Steakhouse in EPCOT and California Grill in Disney's Contemporary Resort. Both of these restaurants offer breathtaking surroundings and absolutely unforgettable meals. And don't forget about the lounges for small plates and fantastic libations! My favorites are Nomad Lounge in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Trader Sam's Grog Grotto in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You could even enjoy Sangria University at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort! This gets rave reviews and is sure to be an unforgettable experience for you and your husband.

You have to check out Disney Springs during your visit! Not only is it a great place to shop for souvenirs and dine on delicious meals, but you'll also have exceptional entertainment at your fingertips - like Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney. And Robyn, it sounds like Wine Bar George would be right up your alley, which offers more than 140 options of wines! Disney Springs has a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere that's perfect for an adult vacation.

I hope these ideas steer you in the right direction, Robyn! If you have any other questions, please visit us again.

You've got a friend in me!
