My husband and I are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter in February. I wanted to take a carriage ride on our first night. What hours do they run?

Hi, Abby! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I just had a memory pop this week in my Facebook account and it was of our stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. That week, we rode along the banks of the Sassagoula River in a horse-drawn carriage one evening. What a wonderful memory that was! I think you and your husband will absolutely love this activity, as it can be such a romantic way to end the evening amidst the beauty of the Port Orleans Resorts!

I recommend you reserve your spot with the Horse-Drawn Carriage before your arrival, as this is usually a popular activity at the resorts. You can claim your seat by calling 407-WDW-PLAY (or 407-939-7529). They usually have spots open nightly every 30 minutes between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Please note that this schedule is subject to change, especially in the event of inclement weather.

That evening, head over to the Riverside Levee Marina at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for your carriage ride. This resort is just a short walk away from your resort, with which it shares many amenities. If you have time that evening, you may want to make a dining reservation at Boatwright's Dining Hall, also found at Riverside. They have delicious Jambalaya and St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake!

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
