My husband and I will be staying at the Beach Club Villas (Deluxe Studio Villa) in May, 2017 with our children (10 and 7). What is the current bed count in those rooms? Are they all renovated? What is the difference between a villa and a standard room?

    Hi Christina!

Whenever I picture our vacations spent calling Disney's Beach Club Villas "Home," I can almost smell the delicious buffet at Cape May Cafe, feel the soft sand-bottom of the 3-acre water wonderland of Stormalong Bay, and I can feel the excitement of being just steps away from International Gateway to Epcot. There are many reasons that this is one of our favorite Resort hotels!

Since the recent refurbishment, completed this summer, Deluxe Studio Villas now offer a Queen size bed, a double size sleeper sofa, and one bunk size pull-down bed located in the entertainment center. This is a fantastic layout and I find that it offers more space for our family of four. I think you will also really enjoy it.

The Villas are located slightly closer to Epcot in a building of their own. To reach this location, stroll along the covered walkway from Disney's Beach Club Resort, stop for a picture in front of the iconic Ariel statue, and enter the quiet, beautiful, more secluded green building. Deluxe Studio Villas have a kitchenette and all 1-, 2-, and 3-Bedroom Villas offer full kitchens along with a washer and dryer. Resort hotel rooms are laid out somewhat differently and are not equipped as many of these home-like comforts.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can help as you plan your vacation, Christina! See ya real soon!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
