    My husband, son and I will be at Disney World for the 1st time Dec 7-13, 2013. I've booked us at Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Does monorail pick up there? If not, what resorts does monorail serve?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation!  December is my favorite time of the year to visit as all of the parks and resorts are beautifully decorated for the holiday season!  My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely stay at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort and loved the relaxing atmosphere, beautiful landscaping, and fun recreational activities. Unfortunately, the monorail system does not service Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are the only three resorts on the Resort Monorail Line.

    Rest assured, guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort will be able to utilize complimentary bus transportation to all of the theme parks and water parks. I also love that guests can travel to Downtown Disney from this resort location via the Sassagoula River Cruise (water taxi.)  I hope this information helps!
