My husband, son - age 4, and myself are leaving on Sat for a 6 day cruise on the Magic. My son is a very picky eater, he only eats dry cereal, plain yogurt and breaded chicken. Eating in the main dining areas, do they have chicken tenders/nuggets?

Welcome aboard Sandra! I'll be on that sailing with my little boy as well, so perhaps we'll run into each other onboard! I bet you are very excited to set sail tomorrow. I know I am!

If there is one thing Disney knows how to do right, it is feed our hungry kiddos! You'll be happy to know that Disney Cruise Line offers quite a variety of healthy children's options on the kids menus. The Children's meals are all trans-fat free, which should make you feel good too.

In each of the Main Dining Restaurants onboard, you'll find starters, main courses and desserts for the kids. While the Chef's Feature Selections  on the Children's Menu will change in each restaurant and with the different themed nights, you should always see a few staples.

Expect to see Golden Chicken Strips, Pizza, Mini Burgers (or should we say Minnie's burgers?), and Mac and Cheese.

The Chef's Feature Selections on the Children's Menus each night will vary but could include delicious offerings like Grilled Chicken Fettuccini, Roasted Turkey Breast or Mickey's Surf and Turf (steak and shrimp).

Each main course will be served with fresh vegetables and a choices of fries or mashed potatoes, as well as their choice of appetizer and dessert.

We like to encourage our kids to try something from the Feature Selections each night. But never fear! If your son finds he doesn't like something he tries, he's always welcome to get the chicken strips.

Safe travels to Galveston, and perhaps we'll see each other onboard!
