My husband and I want to sneak off for our 22 anniversary, we are staying a pop century. We want to go to the Beaches and cream for dessert, & port of new orleans for beignets, What is our quickest wat to do this? with car or without? Any tips?

Hi there, Kristina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to submit your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

First, I’d like to wish you and your husband a very magical 22nd anniversary! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is an excellent way to celebrate your anniversary if I do say so myself. My husband and I always celebrate our own anniversary with a getaway to the Most Magical Place on Earth as well!

If you will have your own vehicle, driving will be the quickest way to get from one Disney Resort hotel to another. Disney Transportation does not actually provide direct transport between the Disney Resort hotels so, if you are going to use the complimentary Disney Transportation, you will need to take the bus to the nearest theme park and then hop on another bus that is heading to your desired Disney Resort hotel.

If you do not have your own vehicle or would like to avoid driving yourself, you can also use Minnie Van Service to get directly to other Disney Resort hotels! Minnie Vans are private vehicles driven by friendly Cast Members that will take you anywhere inside Walt Disney World Resort. Requesting and paying for Minnie Van Service is also incredibly easy! All Guests have to do is download the Lyft app onto a smartphone. From there, you can tap “Select Minnie Van” from anywhere on property and be magically transported to your next location!

I hope this has given you and your husband some ideas for how to get around during your upcoming anniversary trip!
