    My husband, sister and brother in law are taking a kid free trip for the Wine and Dine half marathon! We have dinner reservations at Animal Kingdom Lodge, is there a way to get there from the Riverside other than going thru the TTC? Thanks!!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy you found your way to our happy site to ask some vacation planning questions.   It is my pleasure to help you out today.

    First off congratulations on choosing to run Disney's Wine & Dine Half Marathon.  I have ran this half myself and love both the race, and after party at Epcot later in the evening.   Be sure to get a good meal and nap in between the race and party, you will want to stay up late and enjoy all the magic.   In order to reach Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge from Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside you will need to take a bus heading to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.   Once you arrive at the Theme Park bus depot simply transfer to a bus heading to Disney's Animal  Kingdom Lodge.   The Lodge is just about a five minute ride from the Theme Park so you won't have too long of a drive.
