    My husband and I are residents of Florida, in mid-December our granddaughter and four (4) great grandchildren. As residents I was curious if we could purchase park tickets at a discount for the grandchild and great grandchildren?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, John! You and your family are going to have a wonderful Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for sending in your question about theme park tickets. 

    If your great-grandchildren are under the age of 18, you will be able to purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for them. Just be sure to show Proof of Florida Residency at any ticket window or guest services location at the resort, to activate any tickets you purchase for them.

    It’s important to note that guests in your party over the age of 18, who do not live in Florida, would not be able to use theme park tickets meant for Florida Residents. 

    John, being Mickey’s neighbor has its benefits! I suggest taking a look at the Special Offers that may be available for the season. Florida Residents can enjoy some great rates on Disney Resort hotels and other goodies almost every season of the year!
