My husband and I got reservations at Palo for 8 o'clock the first night of our cruise. The problem is we have the second seating for dinner, will our children 13,12,11, and 9 be able to go to dinner alone? We have never been on a cruise before.

Tasha, welcome aboard! It's your first cruise, and you've surely chosen the right cruise line to sail with! Disney knows how to do it right!

I'm thrilled that you have Palo reservations, as my husband and I absolutely love dining there. Promise me you'll try to chocolate lava cake for dessert!

Your children are old enough that it will be no problem at all for them to go to their regular dining time alone while you enjoy Palo with your husband. It will be very nice for your kids to get to meet the dining servers who will follow your family to each restaurant during your cruise. Then they can introduce you the next evening! You may want to stop by and speak with Guest Services ahead of time, just so they can tell your servers to expect only the children that first night. It's not necessary, but if you have time, let them know.

Then, relax and enjoy your fabulous meal at Palo, and join up with your kids later that evening.
You must have a lot of questions if this is your first cruise, Tasha, so please let me know. I'm very happy to help! Enjoy your planning!
