    My husband and I have a reservation at Port Orleans in January 2020. We are planning on buying annual passes but I wanted to lock in a room first. Will we be able to apply any current Annual Passholder discounts to our existing reservation?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda! January is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! It will be especially magical if it will be your first trip as a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! Thanks for sending us your question.

    I always feel like when I book my Disney Resort hotel many months out, it kind of acts as a placeholder for where I’d really like to stay. (Sometimes I find a better deal and end up switching my Disney Resort hotel!) You can always take advantage of a Special Offer that may become available before your visit and/or start using your Passholder benefits. All you have to do is call (407) 939-5277 to speak with a Cast Member. They will be happy to tell you about which offers are available and they can help you modify your reservation.

    Amanda, since you’re still in the planning phase, you might want to start making your dining reservations now. My family’s go-to lunch spot is Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria inside Epcot’s World Showcase Pavilion. Their arancini is delicioso! Kona Café is also a favorite for dinner. You can find the Polynesian themed restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Their tuna poke bowl is a great appetizer!
