My husband and I have a 5pm sleigh ride and a 6:15 Hoop De Doo Revue show. We're coming from MK, what's the best way to grab our tickets for the show and get to the sleigh ride and back? We were told we'd have enough time when we booked.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer! You’re going to love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the Holidays! The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is also an awesome place to visit this December! I’m happy to help you work out the logistics to get you where you need to go.

When it comes to getting to the Fort Wilderness property, your best bet is to use the complimentary boat launch. You’ll find it right outside the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park. If you have a 5:00 p.m. sleigh ride, you should get in line for the boat launch no later than 3:45 p.m. The ride to the frontier themed resort is about 15-20 minutes long. Once you get there, you will find that the Pioneer Hall box office, where you can pick up your Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue tickets, is very close to where you will meet the Cast Member for your Holiday Sleigh ride. Same-day pickup for your tickets will be available 40 minutes prior to show time. I suggest picking up your tickets at any Walt Disney World Resort Concierge desk ahead of time. You can do so right when you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel for your vacation.

Your Horse Drawn Excursion- Holiday Sleigh Ride is a great way to enjoy the Holidays at this resort. The campsites will be all lit up with holiday cheer! After your 25-minute ride, you will have the perfect amount of time to go ahead and pick up your tickets (if you choose to) and head inside of Pioneer Hall for a rootin’ tootin’ good time! I love the show, it’s really so much fun! The food is delicious and their strawberry shortcake dessert is my favorite!

Jennifer, I hope I’ve been helpful. If you have any other questions, remember that you can always come back to see us. Helping you with the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
