My husband & I are planning to take our then 6 year old daughter & niece to WDW in Dec. 2010. We know we want a DDP to cover all our food, but are unsure if the Deluxe plan is too much?

Hi Alyssa. If you are planning to do dinner shows such as the Hoop De Doo Review or the Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian resort, or signature dining experiences such as Cinderella Castle or the fabulous California Grill in the Contemporary, then you might want to consider the Deluxe Dining Plan. This plan entitles you to three meals a day, two snacks and one refillable mug per person. My nine year-old daughter and I get the Disney Dining Plan, which entitles us each to one quick service, one full service and one snack per day. This is more than enough food for us. I usually purchase fruit, cereal bars and other breakfast foods for the room. This saves us time and money, and offers a sometimes healthier alternative.

I hope this helps Alyssa! Happy dining!
