Hi Moms, my husband and I are planning trip to WDW in October! My question is about Be Our Guest. At our last visit we had advanced dining reservations. Do we need to book a reservation for BOG at lunch or just use the QS from our dining plan? Thanks.

    Hi Lewis,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Even though it’s a counter-service location at breakfast and lunch, Be Our Guest Restaurant accepts dining reservations for every meal of the day. Because of this, much like every other Walt Disney World Resort table-service restaurant, it’s very difficult to get a table without a dining reservation, regardless of how you plan to pay for your meal (i.e. by using one of your Disney Dining Plan entitlements or by another method). If you want to dine at Be Our Guest during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort this October, you’ll definitely need to make a reservation, regardless of which meal you choose.

If you don’t manage to snag a table when your reservation window opens 180 days before your arrival, don’t give up! I’ve found that reservations often free up 24-48 hours beforehand, so I would definitely recommend checking frequently to see whether a spot opens up closer to your vacation dates.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
