My husband and I are planning a trip in Dec.and want to stay in a mod, price hotel. Everything I read points to PO as the best place to stay, but we are from LA and don't know if we want to go there. CBR and CSR are options,we want nice/updated.suggestions

Hi Kayla! Thanks for the great question. If you're looking for updated, then I would recommend either Coronado Springs or the Caribbean Beach Resort. Both have recently updated their rooms. I stayed in a renovated room at Coronado Springs and it was awesome. The rooms were beautiful, and the resort has great amenities and grounds. You didn't mention if you were travelling with kids or not. If you are, you might want to consider the Caribbean Beach Resort, with its newly updated rooms and fantastic pool area. If you're traveling with a pirate fan, you might want to consider upgrading to one of the newly designed Pirates of the Caribbean themed rooms. The newly re-done pool area has something for everyone, with two slides, a zero-entry kiddie pool with its own slide and fountains.

I stayed at Port Orleans Riverside this past March. I loved being able to take the relaxing boat ride to Downtown Disney, and the grounds are gorgeous. That being said, I have to say I found the rooms in the Alligator Bayoo section where we stayed to be dated. Nothing major, but if you're looking for updated, you'll probably be happier at one of the other two.

Have a magical vacation whichever resort you choose!
