Hi! My husband and I are planning on taking our 3 boys to MNSSHP at MK in October. I’d like to take them somewhere fun and convenient for dinner before the party. . Somewhere to sit down (not counter service) would be great. Any suggestions?

Convenient would be somewhere in or near the Magic Kingdom, I think. With that in mind, have you considered a character meal? Crystal Palace inside the Magic Kingdom or Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort meet both requirements - convenient and fun!

A non-character option in that area that we really enjoy would be the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. It's a bit loud and rowdy, and always a lot of fun. Another favorite is 'Ohana at the Polnesian Resort, though honestly at this point it may be difficult to get a reservation there. It is a quite popular restaurant and often fills up far in advance.

Wherever you decide to eat, I do suggest that you call 407-WDW-DINE to make your dining reservations ASAP.

    Have a great trip!
