Hello. My husband and I are planning to stop in DisneyWorld on Friday and Saturday, Sept 13 and 14. We'd like to see DisneyWorld and Epcot, one park each day. Where would we get tickets and do we need a reservation?

    Royal greetings, Janis!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us a fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds like you and your husband will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short days. How exciting! I’d be happy to help connect you with theme park admission for your upcoming visit.

Janis, theme park tickets can be purchased on the Walt Disney World Resort website, in the My Disney Experience mobile app, or by dialing the New Tickets phone line. Alternatively, Guests may purchase theme park tickets at any ticket window at the theme parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. At the time of writing, I’m happy to share that all four theme parks show remaining theme park reservations for the dates you’ve mentioned! If you purchase a standard date-based ticket, you won’t need to worry about making a theme park reservation. At this time, only a few select ticket types and Annual Passes require theme park reservations.

You’re visiting during an excellent time, Janis. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival recently kicked off – every foodie’s favorite season at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide for this year’s festival ahead of your visit to map out your “must-eats.” Then, when you arrive on-site at EPCOT, pick up a Festival Passport to assist you in your tasty trek around the World Showcase!

Janis, I hope you’ve found this information helpful and I wish you and your husband an enchanting escape to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional planning questions before you depart, please feel free to revisit us here at planDisney anytime! We’re here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
