My husband and I are planning lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern on our upcoming trip. We are on the Deluxe Dining plan. Will we be able to choose an appetizer on the the all-you-care-to-eat meal , or is that only available with the a la carte menu?

Hey there, Jennifer. I'm so glad you are planning to enjoy lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. It has for years been one of my family's favorite restaurants, and when they began offering the all you can eat Patriot's Platter option, one of my daughters wanted to add it to our last trip for lunch and dinner in the same day!

With the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, a table service meal entitlement gives you an appetizer, entree, dessert, and beverage OR one buffet or family style meal. Since the Patriot's Platter is considered a family style meal, your appetizer in that case would be the Declaration Salad that acts as the prelude to an absolutely spectacular meal.

If you decide to go with the Liberty tree Tavern a la carte menu, I don't think you'll be disappointed. The pot roast is a must do for me, and you can enjoy the sweet corn fritters as a delectable appetizer. Just save room for the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at the end.

Have a wonderful visit, Jennifer, and thanks so much for your question.
