    Hi - My husband and I are planning our first trip to WDW in mid April to celebrate the end of his deployment. We are staying at Shades of Green. Can we still purchase a Dining Plan through WDW? Also, is the temp in FL ok for water parks this time of year?

    First, thank you to your husband for his service and to you for your sacrifices. You must be so excited for his return!

    Unfortunately, the Disney Dining Plan is not available to guests staying at Shades of Green. I wouldn't worry about it too much though, your room savings at SoG is likely to be far greater than any food savings you would have on the Dining Plan. 

    The average high temperature at WDW in mid-April is about 85 degrees. Usually this is a perfect time for the water parks. If you're concerned, you could always wait until your arrival to get your water park tickets (or to upgrade your basic ticket with the Water Park Fun add-on). That way, you'll have better knowledge of the exact weather conditions at the time of your visit.
