Hello, My husband and I are planning our families first trip to Disney in April of 2010. We will be traveling with my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter. I would like to reserve a room at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. Is this a good choice? Thanks

    April,

That resort is a PHENOMENAL choice! Especially with kids your age, who are inclined to want to spend proportionally more time at the Magic Kingdom (which is only a boat ride away), it is a great selection. The fact that it is one of the two more affordable Deluxe Resorts is a great plus as well.

Of all the deluxe resorts, my two favorites with kids that age (which is the age of my kids, incidentally), are the Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian. I think that the theming at both are ideal, the locations are great, and they really add to the fun of the vacation!

I am glad to assist you with any follow-up questions, if you would like. Just send me more questions, by breaking them up based on what you need to know.

    Have a magical vacation!
