My husband and I are planning an "adult-only" trip to WDW for our 10 year Wedding Anniversary. What's the best place for us to stay that has a great location for the parks and for adult activities?

  • Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary, Elizabeth! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last year at Walt Disney World Resort. While we love visiting all of the parks, we wanted to spend as much time as possible in Epcot. With the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival underway, it was a no-brainer for us to choose an Epcot area Resort. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Beach Club Resort and Yacht Club Resort are all just steps away from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. You will also find the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels in this area.

While staying in the area, you may want to check out some of the great tours available within Epcot. You could plan a delicious meal at the new BoardWalk restaurant, Trattoria al Forno, and then dance the night away at the Atlantic Dance Hall. However, you may want to go for something a little more magical for your anniversary. There is a Specialty Cruise that departs from Bayside Marina at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for an up-close viewing of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth that I think will certainly be a practically perfect way to celebrate with your husband! You can call (407) 939-1929 to reserve your celebratory cruise. Be sure to ask the Cast Member about ways they can really make it a cruise to remember by decorating the boat with a banner or assisting you with ordering a cake for the cruise.

Wishing you a magical anniversary and many more years of happiness!
