    My husband and I plan to visit in 2024. A good friend may join us for a few days. How do.We handle check-in and her being in our room? We will.be checking in first, and she will.join us. We are paying for the room.whether she is there or not. Help!

    Oh boy, I'm so excited to hear that you're already thinking about your magical vacation for 2024! Sharon, I love planning my vacations to Walt Disney World Resort almost as much as I love being on vacation, and the only thing better than a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is visiting with your favorite people! I would love to help you with your upcoming plans that include your good friend. Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared, and your trip is sure to be an extra special one!

    Sharon, when it's time to make your reservation, I would recommend making the reservation for the total number of people that will be staying at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Since your friend will be on your reservation, this friend will be able to access your hotel room with either a purchased MagicBand or with the Disney MagicMobile service. 

    If you, your husband, and your friend will all be purchasing the same number of Theme Park Tickets, then I think the easiest route would be to make a reservation for a vacation package that includes both your hotel and tickets. If your friend would like to have a different number of Theme Park Tickets, your best bet may be to book a room-only reservation, then separately purchase Theme Park Tickets for yourself and your husband, then your friend can purchase a Theme Park Ticket for the number of days they desire. If you decide to go this route, please know that Theme Park Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable.

    When booking opens for 2024, you may also consider calling a Cast Member to talk through the best options for you. They will be more than happy to stretch their magic wands as far as they can reach when it comes to making your trip practically perfect in every way! Just know that, whenever you and your travel party are ready to visit Walt Disney World Resort, the magic will be ready and waiting for you.
