My husband has a pacemaker. He prefers to carry a card vs wearing a magic band. When do we get his card? We will be arriving a few hours before check-in time. Thanks for all your help!

    Hi Julie,

Your husband is welcome to use a card-based ticket and room key rather than a MagicBand. However, you should know that all of Disney's tickets and cards now come embedded with RFID technology similar to the MagicBands. You can read more about this in the official RFID statement on DisneyWorld.com

You can get a card at the front desk of your Disney resort hotel. Don't worry if you arrive prior to the official check-in time. You can pre-register at the hotel at any time of day, even in the wee hours of the morning. Once you pre-register, you'll have all the privileged of a Disney resort guest, except of course you won't be able to get into your room until it's ready. At the front desk, simply tell the registration clerk that you'd prefer to have a card rather than a band. They'll provide you with this at no charge. It takes less than a minute to print.

Once you have your card, you can leave your bags at the Bell Services desk at the hotel and go off to enjoy the fun at Walt Disney World.

    Enjoy!
