Hi Megan! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. I'm happy to help you today. It's the final countdown!
I love the many activities there are to do around Walt Disney World Resort, both in and out of the theme parks! Disney Resort Hotels come equipped with Resort Recreation Activity Guides (usually in the lobby) that provide information for different activities during the day. Popular ones include Campfire S'mores and Movies Under The Stars. The cool thing about each of the resorts is that since they all are themed differently, each resort also includes activities that are centered around the resort's theming. Make sure to take a picture of the Activities Guide at your resort when you check in!
Yoga is an activity I enjoy practicing on occasion. I love the calm it brings, and after a magic-filled day at the theme parks, it's nice to reset! In the past, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Boardwalk Inn all provided yoga classes for guests. However, they are not available at this time. Aw, phooey!
Let's talk about other activities he can do during the day! If your husband loves swinging a club, he can book a tee time at one of the golf courses at Walt Disney World or visit one of the Miniature Golf courses. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds offers a bunch of fun activities, including
horseback riding, a
Segway Tour, and an
Archery Experience! Disney's Coronado Springs Resort also offers different activities for art lovers, including a
Spanish Mosaic Art class and the
Colors of Coronado Painting Experience.
I am sorry I couldn't deliver magical news today Megan, but I hope your husband finds some activities to enjoy during your visit. You also can't go wrong with a relaxing pool day! Have a magical visit to Walt Disney World!
Magic Awaits!
