Welcome Aboard, Mya!
You have chosen such a fantastic time of year to set sail on a Disney Cruise! For the past two years, my husband and I have cruise while the "Halloween on the High Seas" activities were taking place, and both cruises have been completely wonderful!
For any 7-Night cruise, you can expect three nights of
cruise casual attire. This simply means to swimwear or tank tops allowed in the main dining rooms. Our family tends to wear things like sundresses and khakis with polo shirts on these evenings. You will also have a Pirate Night, which is my favorite night aboard any DCL ship. Many of your fellow passengers will be dressed in their pirate-y best and will wear their outfits throughout the evening, especially to the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party and Buccaneer Blast fireworks.
On the "
Halloween on the High Seas" cruises, there are Halloween-themed activities throughout the week, and a special Halloween night, where many cruisers will dress up in costumes. You can also expect an optional Formal night and Semi-Formal night. On these nights, you might see couples dressed in ball gowns and tuxedos, but these are not necessary.
All of the activities on your cruise are optional. You can choose to participate in as many or few of them as you wish. So, you will need to pack according to what you plan to take part in. If your boys will want to dress as pirates, you will want to pack pirate outfits, same with Halloween outfits.
I hope your family has a frighteningly fantastic time aboard the Disney Fantasy.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
