Matt Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My husband, myself and our one year old will be going on the Disney Fantasy in April. We were looking at some of the shore excursions and wondering if anyone knew how the Dolphin Observer at Dolphinaris, Cozumel works? Can the baby touch a dolphin? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!  The Dolphin Observer is an opportunity for you or your husband and baby to watch from a special location. You will experience the information session, but unfortunately you will be too far away to have any type of interaction during the actual swim.  If you are interested in both doing the swim, you can use It's A Small World Nursery onboard the ship for your childcare needs.  I used the nursery on my first sailing and was very pleased with the low ratios and trained staff running the facility.
I hope this helps with your planning!  If you think of any other questions about your Disney Fantasy Cruise, please let me know.
    Have a magical day!
