My husband, mother, 2 YO and myself are visiting Disney magic kingdom tomorrow! We are wondering if the heat will be to much or if we will be ok? Also about weight restrictions for rides? My husband and I are bigger people and we want to ride with our girl

Hey, MacKensey! This is such a great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us. You are going to have such a magical day with your family! You are going to be absolutely covered in pixie dust! Okay, so maybe some of the pixie dust is also called sweat, but it is going to be magical sweat! I have been to Walt Disney World Resort in every season and can honestly tell you that we have a blast in any kind of weather. You just need to remember some key hot weather tips.

First of all, HYDRATE! Bring a water bottle, preferably an insulated one, into the parks with you. You can refill it with complimentary ice water that can be picked up at any Quick Service dining location. As soon as you see a drink station that has the blue fans with a water reservoir, grab it! I promise you, these are much better than any of the cheaper ones I have purchased at home. The reservoir is large and can even fit chunks of ice in it, so you will get a nice cool spray! Keep the sunscreen handy and apply it often. There is a great splash pad area back in Storybook Circus, near Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Let your daughter run around in the spray from mighty Casey Jr. and hey, we won't say a word if you decide to run through it, too!

MacKensey, no worries about size while riding any of the attractions as you will not find any weight restrictions for the attractions. There are, however, height restrictions on several of them, so be sure to check the Attractions page to make sure your girl measures up! My friend and fellow panelist, Jason, has some great tips to share with guests worried about size on the attractions.

Thank you for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
