HI my husband and i are going to take our 20 month old son to walt disney world for our family vacation..... didn't know if he is free for the plans and hotels you have on the site or what? and do they have rides for him at the park?

    Lee,

    Hello from a fellow Hoosier!

First, since he is under three years old, you don't have to pay for a park ticket for him.

Next, you don't have to pay for meals for him at table service restaurants. So for example, at a buffet meal, he is able to eat off of your plate. It is encouraged! Note that they won't bring him a meal for free, but sharing from your meal is OK.

Third, there are PLENTY of rides that are kid-friendly at Walt Disney World, as you can well imagine.
There are more than I can list here, but what you can do is visit the great page on their website called "Traveling with Little Ones" that has suggestions and planning tips.

SPECIAL DOUG SUGGESTION: Note the availability of the Baby Care Centers in each of the theme parks. These will be a great oasis for you when your son needs to be changed, needs some quiet time, or maybe even a nap. No charge!

So I expect that you are going to like a lot of the answers to your questions about taking your son to Walt Disney World. And if you have more questions, feel free to write me back from my bio page and I can offer some more advice.

    Have a magical vacation!
