My husband, my 8 month old and myself will be traveling to WDW in March and we have a reservation for breakfast at Ohana but we are staying at a different resort. How would you recommend we travel there with a baby since the Minnie vans are not in use?

Hi Courtney! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney

There are several different ways to get to 'Ohana, located in Disney's Polynesian Resort, depending upon which Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you are staying at. I will list the variety of modes of transportation here so you can choose the best option that fits your needs.

    1. Bus: All of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels offer bus transportation from the resorts to the theme parks and Disney Springs. You can take the bus from your resort hotel to the Magic Kingdom and then take the resort monorail to Disney's Polynesian Resort. When you depart, take the monorail back to the Tickets and Transportation Center and choose the bus for your resort.
    2. Water: You can take a water launch from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney's Wilderness Lodge,  Polynesian, Contemporary and Grand Floridian Resort Hotels. Ferryboats connect Magic Kingdom to the Tickets and Transportation Center.
    3. Monorail: Three resorts use Disney's monorail service, including Disney's Polynesian,  Contemporary, and Grand Floridian Resort Hotels. If you are staying at any of those resorts, you can simply take the monorail to transport between resorts.
    4. Lyft: While the Disney Minnie Van Service connected by Lyft is currently unavailable, you can still use Lyft (or other transportation services) to pick you up at your resort and bring you directly to Disney's Polynesian Resort.
I also have a great tip! In the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can click on "Get Directions" and the app will tell you the best way to get from where you are located to where you want to go!

Since you are traveling with an 8-month old, you may want to use the Lyft option, if you are staying at a resort not on the monorail line. That will be the quickest and most direct way to get to your reservation at 'Ohana.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
