    My husband, 21mon old and I are on the Magic in Mar. This is a pre-deployment trip for me and we want to spend as much time with our little man as possible. Will there be activities that we can do as a family that our son will enjoy at his age?

    Ahoy Adrienne!
    Welcome to the Moms Panel, and thank you for your service to our country! A magical voyage before you are deployed sounds like a wonderful way to make special, one-of-a-kind memories for your family!  My son was around your son's age on our first sailing and watching the magic of Disney through his eyes was absolutely priceless!  I'm excited that your little one will be able to have some of the same experiences on your sailing!
    There will be plenty for your family to enjoy because Disney Cruise Line is wonderful at planning activities and events for Guests of all ages!  Since your son may still be in diapers, Mickey's Splash Zone on Deck Nine is the perfect spot for your crew to have some splashtacular fun!  If your son is anything like mine, he might enjoy some small toys while he plays which won't take up too much space in your luggage. 
    The cruise staff will host several activities that will be geared to toddlers.  Be sure to check the Personal Navigator's (the daily cruise newsletter) FAMILY row for events your family would like to participate in. Character "Meet & Greets" will also fill your time because there are so many onboard and lots of opportunities for interactions and photos!  I also recommend checking out the Open House Times in the Oceaneer Club & Lab.  These spaces are for children 3-12, but each day one of them will be available for Family Time in which children of all ages can come with their parents to play and enjoy the many fabulous activities offered!  The Open House times will be marked clearly in the Personal Navigator.
