My husband and I have magic keys and our daughter turned 3 this year. We waited until after summer to purchase her pass since we were blocked out anyway. Can we purchase her pass even though sales are paused since she is still 3? Or did we wait too long?

Hiya, Chelsea, and welcome to planDisney! Congratulations on being part of the Magic Key holder family, and a great big, beautiful birthday wish for your little princess. Three is a magic number, they say! Let's look at how you can help her get a Magic Key Pass and experience some Disneyland Resort fun alongside you.

I spoke to a practically perfect Cast Member, Karen Marie, who told me that although Magic Key sales are paused for California residents, you can purchase one for your daughter in person at a Main Entrance Ticket Booth near the park entrances. She advised bringing her actual birth certificate, not a copy, and your ID and proof of residency. Unfortunately, you won't be able to make this purchase online or on the phone, but once you're at Disneyland Resort, you can get that key!

I'd recommend watching the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date on Magic Key information, and follow the Instagram account dedicated to Magic Keys for all the latest news and tips.

Chelsea, I hope you can plan a visit soon, and I think your whole family will have a great time exploring the newly reimagined Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland Park. Goofy's How-to-Play Yard would be a fabulous spot for your sweet girl to run off some energy.

Please feel free to stop by planDisney anytime, Chelsea. And enjoy all the benefits of your Magic Keys!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
