My husband and I would love to take our grandchildren to DW at different times. Our step grandsons are 11 and 12 now granddaughter will just turn 3 in May. I would like to take the boys later and take Lynn in Sep. 1: is she too young? 2: What do you think?

Hi, Peggy Lynn!  What an awesome grandmom you are!

Here's my thinking on taking young children to Walt Disney World.  I've taken all of mine from the time they were infants.  It is a time like you will never be able to capture again.  The magic and wonder to a child this age is an incredible experience, and I have photos and memories that will last me a lifetime - even if some of them are things my girls don't remember.

Three is a wonderful age!  There are so many attractions she'll be able to enjoy, and the themes of some of the resorts will be almost like a theme park in and of themselves to someone this age!  With amazement at every turn, she will show you a Walt Disney World that you might not otherwise see unless you took someone this age.  I always found the most amazing little things that I may have walked right past had I not had a three year old in tow to point them out.

And if September is for sure when you are considering traveling, you may be able to book a room that comes with the FREE dining promotion!  You can get all the information you need on the free dining by clicking Walt Disney World Free Dining Offer.

I hope you do bring her, and I hope the magic and memories you make together will become a lifetime of smiles!
