My husband and I are looking at taking our son to WDW for the 8th time the week between Christmas and New Years 2012. We went last year the week before Christmas and it wasn't too bad. How bad will the crowds really be the week after Christmas?

Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel with your great question, Nancy!  How exciting that you are planning your son's eighth trip to Walt DIsney World! I have also visited the week before Christmas on numerous vacations and have always found the crowds to be manageable. With that being said, the week between Christmas and New Year's Day is considered "highest attendance" according to the unofficial website allears.net. Please know that during peak periods such as the week between Christmas and New's Years Day, parks may fill to capacity. I think as long as you go into your vacation knowing that the parks are most likely going to be more crowded than what you may have been accustomed to in the past, I think you can still have a great time and enjoy the parks when they are decorated for the Holidays! I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical and Merry December Trip, Nancy!
    Happy Planning,
