Walt Disney World Resort.
I chatted with a tech-savvy Cast Member named Celeste, who said you and your husband can both be logged into the same My Disney Experience account at the same time. You can both hop on your devices as soon as your window opens to secure
Lightning Lane Multi Passes or Single Passes.
She suggested you divide and conquer to avoid double-booking. She also cautioned that the system can occasionally glitch when more than one guest uses the same account and credit card, so I have another suggestion.
Your husband can create his own account, and you can link to one another through your profile by selecting the
Family & Friends tab. You can both log in to your separate accounts and book Lightning Lane passes, dining, and more. You'll select one another from the dropdown list of eligible guests you're linked to. Be sure you both have a valid method of payment on file, and you should be good to go!
One advantage of your husband having his own account is that if someone else on a future visit is making plans for him, he'd be able to link to their Family & Friends. As it is now, with only one account, they wouldn't be able to do that for him. Just thinking about the future since I know you'll be back for more magic!
If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, your booking window for Lightning Lane passes opens
7 days before arrival, and you can purchase passes for the length of your visit (up to 10 days). All other guests will purchase passes on a rolling basis, 3 days before. Set that alarm and get ready for some exciting times!
My favorite use of the Lightning Lane entry is the Single Pass for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. This spinning, whirling, high-speed attraction always has me screaming and dancing in equal measure. If you're lucky enough to get the song "September," you'll have the ride of your life!
