My husband and I have a large family (six kids ages 12 years-6 months). Do any of the Disney resorts accommodate a family of our size?

Other than getting two adjoining rooms somewhere (which should be possible at all the hotels), your best bet for Disney lodging would be one of the hotels that have villa rooms. These are Old Key West, the Boardwalk, the Wilderness Lodge, the Beach Club, Saratoga Springs, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The two-bedroom villas sleep 8 people very comfortably.

In the two-bedroom villas, there is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, another bedroom with two queen-sized beds, a living room with a queen-sized pull-out couch, two bathrooms, and a real kitchen. The villas also come with a portable infant crib as standard equipment. Each bedroom and the living room have a TV and most also have DVD players. The kitchen includes a full refrigerator, a stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a toaster. Because this is all available, you can sometimes save a bit of money by choosing to have at least breakfast in the room.

You can find out more about pricing and availability by calling Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY.
