Hi Melanie!
My dad is almost six-and-a-half feet tall, so we have had plenty of experience with height issues on our family vacations! Luckily, he has never been too tall to enjoy any of the rides in the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort! Plus, there are no maximum height limits on any of the attractions in the four theme parks!
That being said, knee room is often a bit of a squeeze, so I have a few tips for how to best fit into some of those tighter spaces! Many of the rides, including those that have boats as ride vehicles, have front rows with a little more space for knees, especially in the center of the front row. Also, most of the thrill rides have two-person shared knee room, so although it may be tight, your husband should be able to fit safely on all of the rides. The only attraction that might be a concern for him is
Avatar Flight of Passage in Pandora - The World of Avatar in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Because of the way the restraints work in this attraction, larger Guests may have an issue fitting into them properly. Luckily, there is a test seat outside of the attraction so that he can make sure that he will fit before you get in line!
If you have any questions or concerns about any of the attractions, feel free to talk to a Cast Member outside of the attraction entrance. You can also speak with a Cast Member about requesting a certain seat before loading the ride vehicle. Often, they will be able to accommodate special requests! Don't forget to check out the
full list of attractions for each of the theme parks where you can find information about all of the attractions that will help you make plans for your magical vacation!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
