    Hello! My husband and I are hoping to travel in our RV to the Food and Wine Festival in late September or October of 2021, but I’m not seeing campsite availability at Fort Wilderness at that time. Are the campsites closed at that time? Thanks!

    Well howdy, Melissa!

    If there is one event that I love the most at Walt Disney World Resort, it would have to be the annual EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. My husband and I make a yearly trek down to Orlando to sample some of our favorite food and beverage offerings! While my husband is partial to the Jerk Chicken and Red Stripe from the Jamaica booth, I am all about the Cheese Raclette paired with a Reisling from the Switzerland stand. 

    Melissa, if you are not seeing any reservations available at The Campsites at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort, it is most likely because they have already booked up. Since the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort is on October 1st, reservations during that time period are a little hard to come by. 

    Since the EPCOT International Food & Wine festival extends for several months, I would suggest that you play with your dates to see what is available, particularly earlier in September or even August.
