My husband and I are going on our honeymoon in a week to Disney World. We were thinking of upgrading to the deluxe Dining Plan. Is it worth it. And can you use the extra point of the end of the week for snacks if you don't use the table service

    Hi Lisa!

Congratulations on your marriage! I can’t think of a better place to spend a honeymoon than Walt Disney World. It will be a truly magical experience!

So, the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan allows you to enjoy three meals (with the flexibility to choose between Table Service and Quick Service) for each night of your stay along with two snacks. Also, you get a refillable mug to use at self-service beverage islands, and Guests over the age of 21 may choose an alcoholic beverage to accompany your meal.

The first time we visited Walt Disney World Resort as a family, we chose the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan because of the flexibility and convenience. But! We are very light eaters and found ourselves with a bunch of credits at the end. So towards the end of our week, we converted our table service credits to snacks and took home a bag full of our favorite Disney treats. Munching on a Mickey Mouse Crispy Rice Treat a few days after we returned brought back beautiful memories. One (1) table service credit is equal to three (3) snack entitlements, so take a moment to think about how much you usually eat and if the plan’s price aligns with that. That way you can decide if you are comfortable with the value.

Now, you are honeymooning during the delicious 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, so you are in major luck if you choose to convert to snack credits. Many of the Festival offerings are Disney Dining Plan Eligible, so you can snack around the world - that sounds honeymoon worthy to me!
