    Hi. My husband and I are having our portraits taken by a Disney Events Photographer in The World Showcase before it opens on Sat. 8/4/12. We will not have a car during our stay, how should we get to the World Showcase entrance at 7:45 am? Thank you!

    That is a tough one. Not knowing where you are coming from that morning, let me make a few suggestions;

    The first one is a bit out there, so bear with me. On August 4, 2012, Hollywood Studios opens at 8 am for Extra Magic Hours. That means that the park transportation should be available at least as early as 7 am. You could take a bus to Hollywood Studios, then boat to Epcot. HOWEVER, this will be very close on schedule, so any delay could cause you to be late. Consider this a last resort recommendation.

    The second suggestion is to just bite the bullet and take a cab to the Beach Club resort, then walk over. I think this is what you should do, for several reasons. First, you will arrive more "refreshed", meaning you won't have your photo-ready coiffures ruined by an hour of bus/boat travel. Second you will be sure to arrive on time.

    BOTTOM LINE: While I would STRONGLY urge you to go with my second suggestion, either way you should talk to your resort's transportation desk and ask them what they think. They might have some further information that could offer even better suggestions. Also, if you write me back with information on where you are staying, I might be able to come up with other ideas!
