My husband and I will be having our grandkids this summer and plan to take them to Disney. Will there be a problem buying their tickets as we are Florida residents??

    Hi there, Marylin!

Can I just share with you that I get goosebumps every time I read a question from grandparents planning trips with their grandchildren? My oldest daughter is expecting her first baby - our first grandchild - and I already have baby's first trip planned. I can't wait.

There is absolutely no problem at all with you buying your grandchildren their tickets using Florida resident discounts, as long as everyone is either under the age of 18 or a Florida resident. You'll have to show proof of Florida residency to purchase the discounted tickets, but children under the age of 18 are not expected to have to show any identification.

There are a lot of exciting things coming to Walt Disney World. I'm most looking forward to Toy Story Land opening June 30th at Disney's Hollywood Studios. How awesome would it be to get to share Andy's world with your grandchildren for the very first time. There goes those goosebumps again!

Wishing you an absolutely magical visit that will lead to treasured memories for your family.
