My husband and I are handicapped are there accomadations for handicapped people on your ships

Welcome aboard, Patricia! I'm so glad that you and your family are considering a magical vacation with Disney Cruise Line!

I'm happy to tell you that Disney Cruise Line has designed all of their ships for easy accessibility for all guests. This includes handicap accessible staterooms featuring ramped bathroom thresholds, larger door openings, fold down shower seats, handheld shower heads, lowered towel and closet bars, additional phones and emergency call buttons.

Throughout the ship, you'll find special viewing areas at many onboard activities that can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters. Cast Members are always on hand and happy to assist with special accessible seating areas in the Walt Disney Theatre for the amazing Broadway-style shows each evening as well. They do ask that you contact a Cast Member at least 10 minutes prior to showtime to ensure they can have a spot for you in the theatre.

Many other features of the ship were designed with guests with disabilities in mind, and you can read about those on Disney Cruise Line's webpage. If you book a cruise, be sure to let the agent know about your needs so they can note that on your reservation, Patricia.

I'm happy to help with any other questions as you continue to plan, so please don't hesitate to stop back!
