My husband is a gulf war veteran but did not retire from the service. We have four kids and are on a very tight budget. Would he be eligible for the military discount with his military veteran card?

    Elaine,

First and foremost I'd like to say thank you to your husband for his service, and to your whole family for the sacrifices you have made for our country. I am deeply grateful.

The Shades of Green Resort offers significant value for eligible military and Department of Defense personnel. To see if your husband is eligible, you you can visit the Shades of Green Eligibility page. This details exactly who can stay there, and what paperwork is required as proof of eligibility.

Additionally, Shades of Green has a 'Salute to our Veterans' program, which is designed to give all military veterans who have received an honorable discharge (verified by current DD-214), the opportunity to vacation at Shades of Green during the months of January and September.

    Hope that helps!
